Work has completed on the park next to the Holyoke Public Library, following a $14.5 million investment into the rehabilitation of the facility, which reopened in November 2014. The park’s renovations mark the final phase of the improvements to the library and surrounding area. Using $200,000 in Community Development Block Grant funding, improvements include new sidewalks, tables, benches and 3 play areas for the public to sit and relax. The work was completed by JL Construction and a groundbreaking ceremony was held on October 28, 2015.
