Mount Tom Power Plant Site Reuse Study

The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) and Ninigret Partners, in cooperation with the City of Holyoke, would like to invite you to the Public Kickoff Meeting for the Mount Tom Power Plant Site Reuse Study.

MassCEC, the City of Holyoke and Ninigret Partners are undertaking a study of the site of the Mount Tom coal-fired power plant in order to assess the potential for cleanup and reuse of the site. The plant has been taken offline, and this study seeks to determine the best way to repurpose the site to maximize benefits for Holyoke, and to inform all stakeholders how they can effectively engage with each other in deciding the site’s future use.
