At its Tuesday, May 20th 2014 regular meeting, the Holyoke City Council overwhelmingly extended the position of Creative Economy Industries Coordinator (CEIC) for another 2 years until July of 2016. Holyoke was the first city in the Commonwealth to model the State’s Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development and establish a post in its Economic Development Office that specifies in supporting the Creative Sector.
