W.I.N. Column: Package Machinery

With an investment of $455,000 for acquisition and renovation of an abandoned building at 80 Commercial Street and to expand their capacity, Package Machinery Company, Inc is set to move its operations from a Tornado-damaged building in West Springfield into Downtown Holyoke by this fall.  Led by its President, Kate Putnam, Package Machinery designs and produces custom wrapping machinery for consumer products made by Fortune 50 clients such as 3M and others. Recently the Republican featured an editorial on the local business’ decision and its assistance from the City in the form of tax incentives and industrial loan program.
